National Grid Property manages the company’s surplus land across the UK.
With a diverse portfolio of around 350 former industrial or “brownfield” sites, our aim is to return this land back to beneficial use and make a continued contribution to the regeneration of UK towns and cities.
To achieve this we work with communities, local authorities, regulatory bodies and the UK’s leading developers.
These sites give us the opportunity to make prime land available for development and could help to deliver around 10,000 new homes in Greater London alone in the next 10 to 15 years.
Managing work safely and in an environmentally responsible way is our priority. We are innovators in the use of sustainable remediation techniques, minimising use of landfill, reducing traffic movements and shrinking our environmental footprint.

We also have a portfolio of land and properties for sale and letting.
