These pages have been constructed to assist existing users or new customers wishing to become a gas Shipper.
The User Admissions Process is managed by xoserve and users should contact them in the first instance. The Gas Customer Team provide support to Shippers throughout this process and with all activities throughout the lifecycle of a Shipper. We do not replace any points of contact that you may already have within National Grid, but we are here to offer support if you are unsure who to contact or if you are unable to resolve any ongoing queries within our organisation.
The Gas Customer Team are also responsible for the development of new or amendments to various agreements including Interconnector and Ancillary Agreements and the processes associated with these.
We appoint Customer Account Managers to all our customers. Your Customer Account Manager will work with you as and when required.

For Shipper/Trader User registration, User changes and market exit. Xoserve also manage Energy Balancing, security and Supply Point Administration (SPA).
All users of the NTS must, under the Uniform Network Code, book capacity before they can put gas in to or take gas out of the system.
