  • Market Change - Gas

  • Market Change - Gas is responsible for developing and maintaining the gas market rules, both nationally and on a European scale and overseeing their implementation.

     

    What We Do: 

    Market Change - Gas is accountable for National Grid's input into the EU and GB industry codes that govern its activities as System Operator of the National Transmission System (NTS). These are the Uniform Network Code (UNC) for GB activities and the various EU network codes that support the move to a single EU market for gas.

  • Capacity and Charging Development

    Accountable for producing transportation charges and for developing and implementing commercial changes related to the GB and EU gas markets related to gas charging and system access (capacity) for the National Transmssion System and associated technical issues.

    Accountable for developing and implementing commercial changes related to the GB and EU gas markets, balancing arrangements for the National Transmission System and associated technical issues in addition to managing the contract relationship with Xoserve.
