We do the right things, in the right way. That’s a mantra for our whole business, but it is especially important to our engineering and design.
We are and always have been an engineering business. The societies we serve depend on us to provide the energy that powers every aspect of their lives, safely, reliably and efficiently. We cannot and will not compromise on safety.
But this is only one aspect of doing the right things, in the right way. We have responsibilities to the future as well. It’s partly a matter of technological innovation, creating new possibilities. It’s also about thinking through how the technologies and engineering skills we already have could be used in different ways, to serve new energy sources and support economic and social viability.
We can’t predict how the future of energy will look, but through our scenario planning we inspire debate and guide our engineering work, creating new solutions.
We are always looking at options for how we can mitigate the instrusiveness of both our existing and future electricity infrastructures.
The design of our infrastructure has the ability to influence the development of different, more sustainable and viable power sources and their distribution.
